Doka Live is all about music. Live music without musical boundaries. From radical garage-bands to smoky jazz-ensembles. You can see and hear it all in our basement.

This time we're welcoming Stroomduiker, Laura Sjin & Vic Willems. Stroomduiker is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Tim Verheijen (28). Indie-pop songs with near-poetic lyrics, subdued in a dreamy mist of hazy guitars and synths. On stage Stroomduiker takes the shape of a frequently changing group of musician-friends, supporting Tim’s characteristically uncomplicated vocals and drum machine beats.

Laura has released her debut EP 'Als ik droom' in 2018, won public vote in De Grote Prijs van Nederland and joined Popronde for their annual tour around the Netherlands. While currently working on upcoming releases, Laura uses her YouTube channel as an idea journal. If you'd like to listen to her songs in the meantime, that's where to find them.

Vic Willems writes and performs intimate, melancholic pop songs with lyrics of a very personal nature. In 2016, he won the Grote Prijs van Nederland, and has since released his EP ‘Doe Wat Je Leuk Vindt’ and played numerous gigs throughout The Netherlands.
